COACHES´ REACTIONS

Jason Cormier (CAN): I think that, from our perspective, we didn't come into the game with the energy we usually have, and that really affected us. During the first intermission, I told the team that if you give your opponent a two-goal lead at the start of the game, it's very difficult to come back. In the end, I think that was the deciding factor. We were constantly chasing the game, and it always felt like we just couldn't get back on level terms.

Antti Koskela (FIN): It was a very close game. We knew that if we played our best, we could win the bronze medal. Throughout the tournament, our game kept improving, and our sixth game was really outstanding. Then we had a slight dip in our performance, but today we were back to playing our best. We have 25 warriors on this team, and this medal belongs above all to the players. Winning the bronze medal is a great achievement for us.
