The Fan Zone Will Offer Plenty of Entertainment

The 2026 Ball Hockey World Championships in Ostrava will be about much more than just the action on the rink. Located right next to Ostravar Arena, a large fan zone will be created and transformed into a vibrant hub of entertainment, sports, and social gatherings for fans from all around the world throughout the championship. Visitors can look forward to a diverse accompanying programme for all age groups, exciting competitions, live music performances, meetings with national team players, and the unique atmosphere of a top international sporting event.

The official opening ceremony of the World Championships will feature a performance by Ostrava native and legendary singer-songwriter Jaromír Nohavica, who will welcome fans with his iconic song Ostrava. Throughout the week, the fan zone will become a place where sport, music, gastronomy, and entertainment come together.

Visitors can enjoy daily concerts and live music performances, autograph sessions with the Czech national teams, meetings with championship ambassadors and special guests, as well as live match screenings on giant screens. Popular skills challenges, shooting competitions, ball hockey mini-rinks, and a dedicated children´s sports zone will also be part of the programme, giving young visitors the opportunity to experience ball hockey firsthand.

The area will also feature an official championship merchandise store, partner zones with competitions and attractive prizes, relaxation areas, and a large food and beverage zone offering a wide range of refreshments. The fan zone will be located in Parking B, between Ostravar Aréna and the multifunctional hall. This will be the place where fans can share the excitement of every game and enjoy the unforgettable atmosphere of the World Championships together.
